This home is an interesting mix of old and new—an old Victorian homestead, originally built in 1888 was recently gutted and joined with a contemporary addition. With an abundance of natural light and a straight-forward floor plan, the new addition with steel, concrete and glass is a complete departure from the original dwelling but the two work harmoniously together. The house was bought in the middle of construction, so we were able to re-select some of the finishes originally specified and customize the interior. An eclectic mix of furniture and artwork play off of the architecture.
